The Integrated Modeling Framework (IMF) project is a combination conceptual and quantitative modeling
effort for Chinook salmon being led by Cramer Fish Sciences (CFS) and funded by
California Urban Water Agencies (CUWA) and the State Water Contractors (SWC).
This effort began in the spring of 2003 with CUWA pursuing full collaboration with the fisheries agencies
(CDFG, NOAA Fisheries, USFWS) to develop an IMF that can forecast individual and cumulative benefits to
Chinook of various water operation scenarios and recovery actions in the Central Valley.
If successful, the IMF could be adapted to numerous Chinook runs. |
