"I approach IT challenges and opportunities with a 'keep it simple
yet solid' philosophy. There is huge strategic value for both us and
our clients when we harness technology that is both open and solid."
Responsibilities: Corporate IT infrastructure and strategy,
technical support for all computer, office, and communication systems,
web site design, development, and maintenance.
Background: "Architecting web sites has been my passion since 1994,
but I've been providing systems support and writing software professionally
since 1986." A career that has included software development in over 25
programming languages on 7 major computing platforms, Williamson brings
to CFS a marked ability to not only understand the tactical how but,
more importantly, the stragic why when it comes to finding solutions
to the technical challenges of a growing and dynamic scientific consulting firm.
Keeping his finger on the pulse of IT trends and developments isn't the only thing Steve brings to the
table. He also has extensive experience designing and delivering technical
training courses with a surprising yet effective blend of know-how and
a sense of humor that always keeps the staff on their toes. Couple that with
more than a decade of project management
experience and you've got an IT manager that knows how to keep the
technological wheels of Cramer Fish Sciences well oiled and rolling smoothly
into the future.

Personal: Steve's hobbies include photography, cooking, playing drums,
fishing, hiking, and camping. His real passion, however, is motorcycle adventure-touring.
"I've learned that if you truly want to live, get off the Interstates and travel the
country on two wheels. For me, it's more about the journey than the arrival."
Are there any life lessons Steve has learned while touring the back roads of the American West?
"I've ridden in every kind of weather and learned it's all a matter of mind over matter
— if you don't mind, it doesn't matter."
